This very rare Official Matchday Football Programme is the original from the fixture between Ujpesti Dozsa v Newcastle United in the Final of the 1968/69 European Inter Cities Fairs Cup. The match was the 2nd Leg which was played on the 11th June 1969 in Budapest, Hungary with Newcastle United winning 3-2 on the night after trailing 0-2 at Half-Time.  Newcastle United who were in their maiden season in European competition won 6-2 on aggregate against a very powerful Hungarian side which included many of the Hungary national team.
